voice and classical guitar. All lesson times must be scheduled with the instructor
by June 15th. Private
instruction is available July 2nd to August 7th. There
will be no make up lessons for cancelled or missed appointments.

HALF

Choral
& Guitar Camp – Ages 6-13

Do you love to
sing? Want to try a new instrument? From Classical to Musical Theatre students
will experience diverse music while learning the basic fundamentals of choral
singing and performance skills. Students
will also work on a short scene from a musical.
This half day camp will also offer students an opportunity to try
classical guitar in a fun relaxed setting.
Small classes allow students to familiarize themselves with fingering
technique and basic guitar introduction.
This camp is open to those who have little or no experience.

Enjoy a week of
fiddle, games and fun! Students will
explore several fiddle tunes and movements to go with it. All music will be taught by ear. The basics of music theory and note reading
skills will be learned through games and music.
Students will also be guided through steps for composition of the own
work as well.

This is an
introductory course for students with no previous experience. This course will cover the basics of posture
and tone production through a series of games, songs, and movement. Course
fee includes the use of an instrument for each class.
Adventures
in Music – Ages 3-5

Encompassing
Movement, Rhythm and Pitch, Adventures in
Music is a Preschool music class based on Suzuki, Kodaly and Orff
methodology. Parent participation is
required.
Children’s
Beginner Guitar – Ages 7-13

This introductory
course will offer students an opportunity to try classical guitar in a fun

Her students have receieved eight RCM Silver Medals and many trophies and
scholarships in local music festivals.
Amy teaches all levels from beginner to University entrance. Ms. Levinson is also
founder and director of Sizzlers Fiddle
Group, Past President of the
Jennifer Gray
(violin/viola),
BMus.,
Registered SAA Instructor, BCRMTA has been teaching for Amati since 2002. Jennifer
teaches violin and viola, and also enjoys coaching chamber music and working
with group classes. She has taught both private and group instruction to
students from beginner to University entrance levels, as well as conducting
youth orchestras at all levels.
Derek Sterling
(guitar/theory),
DipGSM, DMA Candidate, MMusic,
Registered SAA Instructor, BCRMTA. With many years of experience in music
instruction including three years in
Diana Welsh (piano), B.A.(Music), ARCT (Performer). Diana has 10 years experience
teaching piano to all ages and levels.
Diana has received many awards for piano, singing and accompanying. When she is not teaching, Diana can be found
